1. Conformance scopes
Classification Conformance requires an active qualified profile and the canonical unrounded score. It also requires correct application of the Authio 50% Principle only after a Hybrid verdict, correct Review Required behavior, subordinate use of diagnostics and immutable traceability.
Policy-Routing Conformance additionally requires AI-Dominant Hybrid to enter the AI-origin policy domain, preservation of Hybrid status, separation of technical class, disclosure and action, and documented review and appeal for Material Adverse Actions.
Conformance is version-specific. It does not imply external endorsement, legal compliance, Authio approval of an adopter's complete business process or external certification unless Authio separately creates and grants such a program.
2. Authio reference profile
AOCS-AUTHIO-FORENSIC-1.0 is the active Authio reference profile. Its evidence basis is documented in the AOCS Technical Basis and Validation Note v1.0.
3. External qualification applications
Authio administers the AOCS register and retains final qualification authority. An external implementation owner may apply under the criteria in force for the requested profile and version.
An application dossier MUST identify:
- the implementation owner and responsible contacts;
- implementation and profile versions;
- score semantics, canonical representation and precision;
- input, validity, failure and abstention contracts;
- evaluation protocol and dataset-provenance summary;
- class-level and relevant cohort results, calibration results, false-positive controls for Human-labelled material, AI recall, Hybrid behavior and boundary behavior;
- reproducibility and integrity controls;
- security, privacy, traceability and change controls;
- known limitations and requested claims;
- material conflicts of interest.
4. Evaluation
Evaluation may include completeness screening; asset-integrity checks; class and routing conformance; calibration; Human false-positive controls; AI recall; Hybrid preservation; abstention; deterministic reproduction; boundary behavior; traceability; security; privacy; and change-control review.
Acceptance criteria MUST be fixed before the qualification test and applied consistently. Evaluation assets and decisions MUST be protected from applicant-specific tuning. Producing a number on [0,1] is not sufficient for qualification.
5. Decisions, conflicts and appeal
Authio records the evidence and unmet criteria, then issues an approved, conditionally approved or rejected decision for the named implementation, profile and version. Commercial competition with Authio is not a permissible reason for rejection.
Material conflicts require disclosure and recusal. An appeal may allege factual error, inconsistent application or procedural unfairness. An Authio-appointed reviewer who was not responsible for the original decision reviews the appeal and provides a reasoned recommendation; Authio retains the final normative and register decision.
No applicant, reviewer, adviser or external organization acquires veto, co-authorship, maintenance rights or normative authority through participation.
6. Lifecycle
Qualification is implementation/profile/version-specific. Material changes require reassessment. Frozen profiles do not use online learning.
Authio may suspend a profile for remediable risk and withdraw it for unresolved integrity failure, material undisclosed change, repeated nonconformance or misleading claims. Notices identify reasons, effective date, appeal route, record-preservation requirements and any reanalysis guidance. Historical records remain traceable.
