1. Authority
Authio creates, defines, publishes, controls and maintains AOCS. Authio administers the AOCS name and decides all official versions, amendments, corrections, deprecations and withdrawals.
External feedback may be requested and considered voluntarily. It is not a condition of validity and gives no participant co-authorship, veto, maintenance right or normative authority.
2. Official release contents
An official release identifies:
- standard name, version and status;
- publication and effective dates;
- normative document and companion documents;
- active reference profiles;
- changelog;
- SHA-256 integrity manifest;
- canonical publication location and archived superseded versions when web publication occurs.
The AOCS v1.0 package has final status and is ready for publication.
3. Versioning
A major or minor version is required for a material normative change, including changes to the 0.50 boundary, class definitions, score semantics, policy-routing requirements, qualification requirements or mandatory review protections.
Editorial corrections that do not change normative meaning may be released as a patch revision. Every release receives a dated changelog and new integrity hashes.
Technical analysis profiles are separately versioned. A profile may be updated, deprecated or withdrawn without invalidating the existence of the AOCS standard. A material profile change requires an impact assessment and updated validation evidence.
4. Records and notices
Authio maintains official version history, effective dates, changelogs, active-profile records and archived superseded versions. Deprecation and withdrawal notices state their scope, effective date, reason, treatment of historical results and any reanalysis guidance.
5. Use of name and claims
Accurate citation and truthful conformance claims are permitted. No party may present an altered document as an official Authio publication or imply Authio or third-party endorsement without written authorization.
